Reiki Level 1 Practitioner Training

Level 1 is a practitioner's initiation into Reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during Level 1 is to open the energy channels on a physical level, allowing the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy, which flows from the cosmos through the crown of the head and down to the heart and hands. With each Reiki Practitioner Level attunement, the energy may become stronger.

Many Reiki Masters emphasize self-Reiki as the goal of the Level 1 certification, encouraging students to focus on practicing Reiki on themselves, thereby working through their own energy and personal challenges so they may better understand how to serve others. Many experience physical symptoms of energy in their palms after the first attunement: including tingling, coolness or heat. Some students may also have visions or other bodily sensations are energetic channels are opened and balanced. This Level 1 course includes an overview of the history & science of Reiki, hand placements for healing self, as well as an instructor-led group practice.

Please note: Should you choose to reserve your spot by making a Split Payment, the second installment will need to be made prior to class arrival. There are no refunds if you are unable to attend. Your payment will be applied towards the next training. You may also reserve your place for all three levels in advance if you would like to fully commit to becoming an 8th Generation Usui Reiki Master/Teacher within three months, receiving all level attunements, as well as certifications and mentorship. Should you not be able to make a training date, you can simply attend the next training for that level. You will be notified via email when the schedule for 2026 Reiki Practitioner Training is posted.
